I blurbed this book when it first came out, and later befriended the author. So I am somewhat biased. But that does not make this any less than the perfect summer read.
At the very least, you should buy this book because the author recently read to a group of lumpy-balled, neon-pubed naturalists in order to promote it.
The author has a newer book, Drinking Closer to Home, which is probably better,, but you should read this one first, then that one.
